The brief was to develop a medical assistive device to aid patients suffering from mild Cerebral Palsy. The devices is to help patients grip objects of different circumferences after loss of strength in muscles in the hand.

Our Client

Blythedale Children’s Hospital, NY
Nij Suri, is a young male adult, that has mild CP in his left hand, conditioning him to become left handed. His condition limits him to pick up objects beyond 7 seconds in the right hand. Nij manages to grip objects with the first three fingers being the thumb, index and middle finger, while his ring finger and little finger tend to curve inwards into the palm of his hand.
