We all know the old English saying "counting sheep" which is actually an idiomatic term for insomnia. As you get into bed and start counting sheep until you're so tired you fall into deep slumber, the last sheep gets stuck in your dreams because he's the one who is always forgotten. He is always spooked and never knows which dream he is going to land up in.
Shadow is the gothic sheep stuck in Nightmare. He sails through constellations and the moon and gets trapped with all the creatures of the dark and shadows from every nook and cranny. His fur is made from the feathers within your pillow, the lacey socks forgotten under your bed and the soft cotton bedsheets you sleep on.
Day dream is the sheep that tries to catch butterflies and rainbows, always distracted with every sunflower that he sees and finds different shapes in all the cloud that fill the sky.
Hallucination is the third eye sheep. He eats mushrooms and weeds that grow in the gardens. He is colorful and lives in a distorted land.
Black and white dream is the sheep that is trapped in black and white television screens. He lives in a black and white polka dot world and eats old tapes and wears black and white pillow features on his head.
Recurring Dream is the sheep that gets spooked seeing himself wherever he goes. When looking into the mirror he wonders which is his real self
